Pierogi by Paula is a family run business started by Paula Duge (nee Kurasiewicz).  Paula comes from a Polish family that thrived on their traditions.  Wigilia and Easter always included homemade pierogi that were made weeks ahead of time.   Making pierogi is a very time consuming task.  Years ago, it was tradition for all family members to join in holiday food preparations.  It is often what joined the family together.  However in today's world, many people either do not know how to make pierogi or they are often too busy to make them.  This is not a negative reflection on families and traditions, just a reflection of the changing times.  If one could find pierogi that they remember from when they were younger, it would help to pass on tradition.  And that is just what we offer....true authentic pierogi that many people say tastes just like what they had when they were younger.  We have found a way to make the pierogi quicker without compromising the recipe or taste.  There are never any preservatives or additives.  We make them with fresh ingredients and the pierogi are immediately frozen to preserve their freshness.
